Burnout Recovery for Deep-Thinkers or -Feelers in Vermont

Description

Are you a deep person that experiences the world more intensely than others seem to? Is it leading to apathy or exhaustion in work, relationships, and life in general? You aren't alone and you don't have to continue alone! Join our 12-week virtual group therapy designed to be a safe and affirming place for you to get relief. This group is designed to help you to better understand your needs, become empowered in your own life, build genuine connections with others, find mutual support & encouragement, and start crafting a life you don’t want to escape from.

This group will help you ward off the loneliness & isolation from moving through the world and a society that wasn't designed for your kind of depth. You'll get support from others, offer encouragement to others, be welcomed into a group of peers, and discover actionable steps to help you take back your life from burnout. I'll put together a curriculum that addresses the goals of the group members based on my 10+yrs of experience working with Highly Sensitive People, people who have a rich inner-world, and people who tend to think deeply about the world around them & the choices they're making.

Therapy groups can be intimidating (especially when you've been told that you're too much or too sensitive or otherwise not the "right type" of person) and this is a curated space for people to collaborate to welcome each other and honor the difficulties that come from feeling like you don't belong. My goal is for these group sessions to be tailored to fit the needs of each unique cohort instead of being a one-size-fits-most curriculum. The therapeutic approach will include mindfulness and somatic tools, Narrative Therapy's group processing style, and some Parts Work, DBT, or ACT interventions to get us past the surface level and able to move into the deeper dialogues while respecting boundaries.

I'm actively recruiting new cohort members and would love to talk to you if you're interested or have some questions. After all, I'm a therapist, not a marketing expert. 😅

The specific time for the group sessions will be determined based on consensus from the group members and we'll meet once weekly on a recurring day & time and will run for 12 a total weeks. You can Book A Consultation within Zencare or you can navigate to "Therapy Groups" on my practice's website (eWisdomWellness dot com) and fill out a Registration Form there.

Group Therapist

Lindsey Witz, LPC, LCMHC, specializes in supporting queer and LGBTQIA+ individuals navigating the heavy intersection of burnout, anxiety, and existential dread. Her practice is a dedicated space for those who feel they are performing their way through life rather than living it—highly capable professionals, athletes, and community anchors on the brink of exhaustion. By addressing minority stress alongside the pressures of constant peak performance, Lindsey helps clients move from survival back into a life of meaning, vitality, and authentic self-expression.

Their therapeutic approach is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), seamlessly integrating Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused, and DBT-informed skills. This trauma-informed framework allows clients to deconstruct the hustle culture narratives that fuel depression, anxiety and stress, replacing them with actionable coping skills and a renewed sense of purpose. Whether navigating stressful work or family lives, life transitions, neurodivergence, or gender identity, Lindsey provides a balanced mix of deep existential exploration and practical, actionable steps.

With a professional background and as a former Division-1 athlete, Lindsey brings a nuanced understanding of high-pressure environments and performance anxiety. Their down-to-earth perspective resonates with clients who value a therapist who understands the drive for excellence, but recognizes its toll on mental health. Their work is informed by the belief that healing is about reclaiming one’s identity from the weight of systemic and personal expectations.

To ensure therapy is accessible for busy professionals, Lindsey provides expert care through a secure telehealth platform. They are fully licensed to serve clients in both Texas and Vermont, offering flexible remote sessions that fit a modern schedule. This virtual-first approach allows for a consistent, confidential connection from the comfort of your own space, bridging the gap between clinical expertise and daily life.
