The clinicians at Compass Counseling and Consulting are genuine, experienced and professional. We offer individual, family and multi-person (because some relationships have more than 2 people in them) counseling virtually. In addition to an AASECT certified sex therapist, we have a great intern who offers low cost therapy and a provisionally licensed mental health counselor.
Our goal is to support our clients in finding their own path in life which honors their values and identity. We utilize our life experiences, education and passion to provide the best support for our clients. Complimentary consultations are offered to find the right fit and get started!
Compass Counseling and Consulting accepts payments via credit/debit, PayPal, and the Loveland Foundation. We are also In-network with BCBS, Cigna, Aetna, and UBH as well as some medicaid MCO's. Our fees range from $25 to $160 depending on the provider.
The clinicians at Compass Counseling and Consulting are skilled in supporting clients with anxiety, depression, relationship concerns (familial, platonic, and romantic) and life transitions. There is special interest in sex therapy and LGBTQIA+ clients.
ALL SERVICES ARE OFFERED VIRTUALLY. Compass Counseling and Consulting provides individual, family, and partnered sessions on evenings and weekends to individuals residing in North Carolina.
Anxiety - Coping with excessive worry, nervousness, or stress; intense discomfort in social settings (social anxiety); sudden and intense feelings of panic (panic disorder)
Depression - Providing support and promoting healing of hopelessness, low motivation and energy, sadness, irritability, sleep disturbance, and loss of interest and pleasure in life
LGBTQIA, gender, & sexuality topics - Exploring topics of sexuality, gender, and identity; coping with discrimination and oppression; navigating relationship, family, and cultural challenges
Race & cultural identity - Exploring topics of racial, cultural, and ethnic background as it relates to one’s family origins and personal identity
Relationship issues - Understanding one’s wants and needs in relationships; exploring patterns of interaction, addressing concerns, and strengthening satisfaction in relationships and dating
Stress management - Strengthening effective ways of coping with the stress of life and change; managing expectations of self and others
