Practice Information

Many of my clients can often explain their patterns — but creating lasting change is exhausting. For neurodivergent people especially, intellectual insight can become its own way of staying safe.

Real change means you don't have to rely on willpower. It means the behavior, the feeling, or the pattern simply stops making sense to the parts of you that were running it — because those parts no longer need to. That's what we're working toward.

Using Internal Family Systems (IFS) and nervous system-informed approaches, we work beneath the analysis to what's actually driving the pattern — most often, chronic shame. Shame that says you're too much, not enough, or fundamentally unacceptable. It shows up everywhere: in burnout and masking, in the aftermath of divorce, in the creativity you can't bring yourself to share with the world.

My clients are diverse in what brings them here, but the work is usually the same — clearing the internal conditions that make the life you want feel out of reach.

FAQS

Why should I choose your practice?

My background is in climate science — I have a master's degree and spent years researching how people perceive and respond to risk. What I kept finding was that information alone rarely changes behavior. People don't act differently just because they understand something. That question followed me into the therapy room, where it turns out it's just as true.

I'm an IFS Practitioner trained through all three levels of the IFS Institute. I'm late-identified AuDHD, which shapes both how I work and who I'm drawn to work with — including the grief of living through climate disruption, loneliness of never quite fitting in, and the exhaustion of performing a version of yourself that isn't really you.

What services does your practice offer?

One-on-one sessions via telehealth. Coaching available worldwide.

I offer small, carefully curated groups for adults:

- Navigating neurodivergent identity

- IFS Training and practice groups

- Climate Cafes

- Therapeutic watercolor experientials

What are your practice's specialties?

Individuals navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, life transitions, and relationship challenges — particularly those who have tried to think their way through these struggles and found that understanding alone hasn't been enough to change them. Toni is especially passionate about serving adultsrebuilding their sense of identity.

In session, she focuses on the internal experiences that keep people stuck despite their self-awareness. This work supports clients to live differently without relying on willpower to get there.

Toni's style is direct, warm, and intellectually engaged. She doesn't shy away from the harder aspects of her clients' lives — including grief about the state of the world.

Toni holds a Master's and completed all 3 levels of Internal Family Systems training through the IFS Institute. Outside of private practice, she trains other practitioners through IFS Healers.

How does payment work at your practice?

HSA payment cards are accepted. I do nit bill your insurance directly. Out-of-network only. Superbill available upon request.

Sliding scale: $160-$300

Specialties

ADHD - ADHD isn't a motivation problem or a willpower deficit — it's a fundamentally different relationship with time, attention, and self-regulation. I help adults with ADHD understand what's actually happening neurologically and build a life that works with their brain instead of constantly fighting it.

Autism spectrum disorder - Getting a late diagnosis can feel like the ground shifting — relief, grief, and a lot of "wait, was that autism all along?" all at once. I help late-diagnosed adults make sense of their history, grieve the years of not knowing, and figure out who they actually are underneath all that compensating.

Existential crisis & challenges - Supportive exploration of meaning and purpose in one’s life; finding one’s path in the face of existential anxiety, dread, and feelings of meaninglessness

Burnout - Getting a late diagnosis can feel like the ground shifting — relief, grief, and a lot of "wait, was that autism all along?" all at once. I help late-diagnosed adults make sense of their history, grieve the years of not knowing, and figure out who they actually are underneath all that compensating.

Loneliness - Loneliness isn't just about being alone — it's about feeling unseen, even in rooms full of people. For neurodivergent adults especially, chronic loneliness often has roots in years of masking, misattunement, and never quite finding your people. We work on both the internal experience and the real-world conditions that make genuine connection harder to find.

Climate anxiety - I work with people who are grappling with real grief about the state of the world — without toxic positivity, without dismissiveness, and without pretending the anxiety isn't completely rational.
