Practice Information

You may feel constantly on edge, stuck in your thoughts, or disconnected from yourself in a way that’s hard to explain. Even when life looks “okay” on the outside, inside can feel overwhelming racing thoughts, difficulty relaxing, or simply getting through the day without feeling present. If this resonates, you’re not alone, and it makes sense given what you’ve been through.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and Colorado, EMDR-trained and specializing in trauma and identity work. I offer a supportive, collaborative space where we make sense of your reactions without judgment, gently process what’s been weighing on you, and begin to create a deeper sense of steadiness, clarity, and control.

Many of my clients come in feeling caught in survival mode, noticing yourself be hyper aware, people-pleasing, overthinking, or unsure of who they are anymore. Together, we move beyond just coping, helping you feel safe in your body again, reconnect with yourself, and build a more grounded, confident way of moving through your life so you can feel like yourself again.

I offer depth-oriented trauma therapy that goes beyond managing symptoms. My work is designed for clients ready to shift long-standing patterns, reconnect with their identity, and experience meaningful, lasting internal change.

FAQS

What services does your practice offer?

I believe healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. Together, we’ll explore what’s been holding you back, gently shift patterns shaped by survival, and build a stronger, more secure sense of self. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to experience meaningful, lasting change.

My approach integrates somatic awareness and psychotherapy to support healing on both the mind and body level, helping you better understand your emotional responses and how they show up in your daily life.

Using EMDR and a trauma-informed, integrative approach, we focus on helping your nervous system feel safer so you can move through life with more clarity, steadiness, and confidence. My goal is to offer a supportive space where healing feels both grounded and possible, at a pace that feels right for you.

If you live in Texas or Colorado, we can work together

What are your practice's specialties?

My specialization focuses on helping clients who feel like they’ve lost touch with themselves due to trauma or major life transitions. Often, these experiences show up in patterns you can’t seem to break, even when you understand them logically.

I work from an identity-focused trauma lens, which means we’re not only processing what happened, but also exploring how those experiences shaped your sense of self, safety, and worth. Many of my clients are asking deeper questions like: “Who am I outside of survival mode?” and “How do I feel like myself again?”

Using EMDR, somatic awareness, and psychotherapy, we gently work with both the emotional and body-based impact of trauma so your system can begin to settle. As this happens, clients often notice increased emotional clarity, stronger boundaries, and a growing sense of internal trust and confidence.

Why should I choose your practice?

Clients choose to work with me because they are ready to be heard and understood. They want to understand why they feel stuck in the same patterns and how to truly change them. I help you make sense of anxiety, trauma, and emotional overwhelm in a way that feels grounded, compassionate, and nonjudgmental.

Instead of only addressing symptoms, we explore how your experiences have shaped the way you see yourself, relate to others, and move through the world. This creates space for deeper shifts in self-trust, confidence, and emotional safety.

You don’t have to keep navigating this alone, its okay to ask for support

How does payment work at your practice?

Ingram Counseling and Wellness is a self-pay private practice with session rates starting at $200. A sliding scale may be available for those who qualify. Superbills can be provided for clients seeking out-of-network insurance reimbursement.

Specialties

Trauma - I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced trauma or are navigating significant life transitions and feel disconnected from themselves as a result. Often, my clients aren’t just struggling with symptoms, they’re questioning their identity, their worth, and how they want to show up in their lives moving forward.

Anxiety - You feel like your mind and body are always in fight or flight, constantly scanning, overthinking, and bracing for something to go wrong, even when nothing is happening. You might notice tightness in your chest, a restless body, trouble sleeping or focusing, and a constant sense that you can’t fully relax or trust that things will be okay.

Depression - It feels like you’re moving through life in a fog, disconnected, exhausted, and unable to access the motivation or energy you used to have. Even simple things may feel heavy or meaningless, and you might find yourself withdrawing, feeling numb, or wondering why things that “should” matter just don’t.

Life transitions - You feel like the ground beneath you has shifted, leaving you unsure of who you are or where you’re headed next. Even when the change is “good,” you may feel unsteady, disconnected, or unsure about trusting yourself or the process.

LGBTQIA, gender, & sexuality topics - Exploring topics of sexuality, gender, and identity; coping with discrimination and oppression; navigating relationship, family, and cultural challenges
