FAQS

What are your practice's specialties?

Reed Counseling Specialists is an experienced group therapy practice offering individual therapy for adults and adolescents, with support for anxiety, trauma, ADHD, life transitions, relationship stress, emotional overwhelm, and family challenges. Our clinicians provide compassionate, practical, and skilled care, with daytime appointments available and evening sessions offered through Rebekah West, LISW.

What services does your practice offer?

Our practice specializes in therapy for anxiety, trauma, ADHD, relationship stress, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, and identity development. We are especially skilled at helping clients who feel stuck in old patterns, overwhelmed by responsibility, or unsure how to move forward. Our clinicians bring warmth, directness, and years of experience supporting adults and adolescents through complex emotional and relational concerns.

Why should I choose your practice?

You should choose our practice if you want therapy that feels warm, thoughtful, and deeply experienced—but not passive. Our clinicians are seasoned, independently licensed professionals who know how to work with complexity, not just offer surface-level support. We are a good fit for high-functioning clients who may look “fine” on the outside but feel anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, burned out, or tired of repeating the same patterns. We bring clinical depth, practical direction, and a direct but compassionate style to help you better understand yourself, heal what needs attention, and make meaningful changes in your life and relationships.

How does payment work at your practice?

We offer several payment options, including self-pay, most major insurance plans, and out-of-network reimbursement with a superbill. If we are in-network with your insurance, we will check your benefits as a courtesy before your first appointment so you have an estimate of your copay, deductible, or coinsurance. Insurance companies make the final determination of coverage and client responsibility, so you are responsible for any amounts your plan assigns to you.

For clients using out-of-network benefits, payment is due at the time of service. We can provide a superbill, which is a detailed receipt you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Please note that using insurance or submitting a superbill requires a diagnosis and may involve sharing limited clinical information with your insurance company. Clients who prefer greater privacy may choose self-pay.
