Professional statement

Thank you for visiting this profile. Dr. Beatrice Odero, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with outstanding years of practicing in both outpatient and inpatient settings. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing in 2019 from the University of South Alabama, thereafter, furthered her education and earned Doctor of Nursing Practice at the same school. She currently works with patients from ages 12 to 65 across the state of Georgia.

Do you or a loved one struggle with anxiety, depression, OCD, eating disorders, PTSD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, insomnia, or other mental health concerns? Dr. Odero provides a compassionate, judgment-free space where patients feel heard and supported. She understands that mental health is complex and influenced by genetic, environmental, and social factors. Dr. Odero offers comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, nutritional psychiatry, supportive psychotherapy, and practical lifestyle guidance. Using evidence-based approaches, she creates personalized treatment plans focused on helping patients achieve better emotional wellness.

Her approach to treatment centers on viewing the person as a whole. She is dedicated to bringing wellness to the body, mind, and spirit through medical science, and various non-pharmacological modalities to produce holistic care. Also, has medication failed you in the past? She offers Genesight pharmacogenomic test that analyzes how your genes may affect medication outcomes.

She is accepting new patients and offers the convenience of remote sessions via virtual/tele-psych visits. Her goal is to help each patient improve their quality of life. She listens, provides comfort, and offers interactive, and non-judgmental safe space for all her patients. You do not need to walk the journey alone. Dr. Odero is committed to destigmatizing mental health care and encourages you to seek help. "There is hope even when your brain tells you there isn't"- John Green.

Message to clients

Starting mental health care can feel overwhelming, and my hope is that you feel supported and understood from our very first session. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can speak openly about what brings you in. I take time to truly listen and understand your experiences, symptoms, and goals so that our work together feels collaborative and individualized.

Before beginning treatment, it is important to know that care is a process and looks different for everyone. I believe in thoughtful and transparent conversations about diagnosis and treatment options. Your care may include medication management (pharmacotherapy) and brief psychotherapy, which I provide.

Each visit includes active engagement, answering your questions, gathering feedback about your progress, and reviewing your treatment plan to ensure your needs are being met. You are also welcome to communicate any concerns through secure messaging via the patient portal.

My hope is that through our work together, you gain clarity, relief, and greater confidence in managing your mental health. Whether you are navigating a new challenge or continuing your journey toward wellness, I am here to partner with you in a way that feels respectful, empowering, and supportive. I look forward to working with you.
