Professional statement

Collin Stoker, PA-C is a certified psychiatric physician assistant specializing in helping those navigating mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, PTSD/PTSI, trauma, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. Collin's clinical experience at Provo Canyon Behavioral Hospital, an inpatient facility in Utah, solidified his interest in mental health and desire to work in psychiatry. His experience working closely with individuals in acute crises and distress allowed him the confidence to manage a wide array of mental health conditions and provide avenues for those navigating difficult circumstances.

At Stella Mental Health, Collin is dedicated to providing individualized, trauma-informed, and holistic care. Based on the client’s history, current challenges, and goals, he develops personalized treatment recommendations that may include pharmacologic medication management or addiction medicine as well as advanced, innovative therapies such as: Ketamine-assisted therapy, Spravato® esketamine, Stellate Ganglion Blocks (SGB), and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).

My education includes graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Utah Valley University, and obtaining a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Weber State University in 2024.

Message to clients

As a certified psychiatric physician assistant, I am passionate about integrating mental health into each person’s individualized, holistic care. I begin with an assessment to understand the biological, psychological, and social factors impacting a client’s well-being. From there, I develop tailored treatment recommendations that are advanced, innovative options and evidence-based protocols for healing.

My approach blends evidence-based medicine with holistic strategies to support long-term healing and resilience. Many of my clients say they appreciate my approachable nature, ability to listen, and collaborative style. I fully understand that mental health is not a one-size-fits-all solution, and I'm committed to working diligently with my clients until their own unique and individualized avenue is discovered.

As a native of Southern California, I spent my early years near the ocean, but made an easy transition to the mountains. After becoming a Utah resident in 2018, I developed passions for mountain biking and snowboarding.

Therapist's note

After scheduling, you'll receive an email from Stella Mental Health (formerly Numinus) containing your paperwork. Please allow 30 minutes to complete. Your responses will help your provider prepare for your upcoming appointment. All patients are required to complete these forms at least 24 business hours before their appointment.

A dedicated Care Advocate will call you and answer any questions you may have. Please be prepared to provide a credit card to keep on file for co-pays or cancellation fees. If a payment method is not provided, your appointment may be canceled. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full intake appointment fee.

During your appointment, you’ll spend 60 minutes with your provider collaborating on a treatment plan tailored to your needs. If in-person treatments are recommended—such as TMS, Spravato, SGB, or ketamine therapy—our care team will guide you through the process and ensure you feel supported every step of the way.
