Dr. Terri Negatu is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner located in North Bethesda, MD. Her practice, Sophroneo Behavioral Health, focuses on helping people with depression, anxiety including panic disorders, phobias, ADHD, bipolar, and schizophrenia. Often, clients have tried to engage in treatment for these mental health conditions but haven’t yet found a pathway forward that’s been helpful or effective. Treatment resistance can increase the stress associated with wellbeing, leading to an even harder time reaching out for help.
Dr. Negatu offers clients both talk therapy approaches and medication management. She gets to know clients and their challenges through supportive, empathetic conversation, then devises a treatment plan that can effectively address their symptoms. Clients benefit from Dr. Negatu’s balanced approach that takes into account the mind, body, and spirit.
Dr. Negatu earned a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Chatham University. She is Board Certified, with extensive experience working with diverse clients and helping them find ways to manage their mental health.
