Professional statement

Hi, I’m Venita, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
I work with individuals seeking support for a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and substance use. My background includes providing care in outpatient settings, telehealth, and addiction treatment, where I support patients navigating opioid use and recovery.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on helping you feel both supported and empowered. I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable discussing your experiences openly, while also incorporating practical strategies and, when appropriate, medication management to support your overall well-being.
With a foundation of clinical training across multiple disciplines, I take a thoughtful, individualized approach to care, working with you to find what best supports your goals and helps you move forward with greater stability and confidence.

Message to clients

In our work together, we’ll take the time to understand what you're going through in a way that feels grounded and approachable. My goal is to create a space where you don’t feel rushed or judged, but instead feel supported in making sense of things at your own pace.
I believe care should feel both calming and actionable, meaning you leave sessions not only feeling heard, but with a clearer sense of direction and next steps. Whether that includes therapy, medication support, or both, we’ll find a path that feels right for you.
If you’re looking for care that is thoughtful, steady, and centered around your needs, I’d be glad to connect.
