Professional statement

David is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who enjoys working with people from all walks of life. He supports clients dealing with things like anxiety, depression, and everyday stress, and has a special interest in helping those who may have had a harder time accessing care. He aims to create a space where people feel comfortable, understood, and able to be themselves.

His style is warm, relaxed, and collaborative. David believes that good care starts with listening, and he works with each person to find what feels right for them. He focuses on simple, practical approaches that are based on research, while also making sure clients feel involved and supported along the way.

David earned his nursing degree from the University of North Florida and later completed his master’s degree at Saint John Fisher University, focusing on mental health care. His background helps him support a wide range of needs, but he always keeps things approachable and centered on the individual.

He offers flexible scheduling and telehealth visits to make things easier for clients. His goal is to provide care that feels accessible, supportive, and easy to fit into everyday life.

Message to clients

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s completely okay to feel unsure or have questions along the way. My goal is to create a space where you can feel comfortable, supported, and able to talk openly at your own pace. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out—I’m here to listen and work with you.

I see therapy as a collaborative process. We’ll take the time to understand what’s going on for you and figure out what feels helpful and realistic in your day-to-day life. I’ll share ideas and options based on my experience, but your voice and preferences will always matter in the process.

My hope is that over time, you feel more confident, supported, and better able to handle whatever challenges come your way. We’ll take things one step at a time, in a way that feels manageable and meaningful to you.
