Owais Mirza is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who received both his Bachelor's and Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University. He grew up in Houston and is dedicated to providing respectful and culturally sensitive mental health care to the city's diverse community.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, he worked in several areas of nursing, including clinical research, hospital medical-surgical units, and intensive care. These experiences gave him a strong background and a well-rounded approach to treating mental health conditions using up-to-date and practical methods.
Owais Mirza focuses on helping patients understand the root causes of their mental health concerns. He works hard to create a safe, supportive space where people feel comfortable and respected. He builds strong and trusting relationships with his patients and believes that good care starts with open communication and working together.
