Hi, I’m Anissa House-Grasley, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with 15 years of experience providing empathetic, solution-focused care to individuals, families, and teenagers. I specialize in supporting clients navigating anxiety, self-esteem issues, grief, parenting challenges, relationship concerns, and trauma.
I believe therapy should meet you where you are, and I tailor my approach to each person or family’s unique needs. I draw from a range of therapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Exposure Therapy, Family Systems, the Gottman Method, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Focused CBT. I also welcome faith-based perspectives into therapy when it aligns with your values and goals.
In addition to my general practice, I have extensive experience working with veterans and active military personnel and bring a deep respect for their lived experiences into the therapeutic space. I’m a graduate of the University of Rochester, and I’m committed to offering a grounded, supportive environment where growth can take root.
If you’re ready to begin your healing process or want to strengthen your relationships and emotional well-being, I’d love to connect and discuss how I can support you.
