Message to clients

Welcome to Morning Sun Therapy. The Marin Independent Journal's Honoree for Best Psychotherapy Practice. We are honored you've chosen us to be a part of your journey toward greater self-awareness, healing and growth. Our approach provides a safe space in which both evidence-based care and insight-oriented therapy are used to support you in navigating your life's unique, complicated, and often painful, twists and turns.

When working with evidence-based therapy, such as CBT, we explore the habits of mind that contribute to anxiety, depression, stress, or other concerns. Through practical tools, reflection, and collaborative problem-solving, you are empowered to shift unhelpful thinking and build new patterns that support your well-being and goals.

The term "it is a both/and" is a phrase that we often use when doing insight-oriented therapy, such as psychodynamic work. That is, clients explore challenges in which there is no clear cut solution, the unknown permeates, and there is no "right or wrong" way to do things. These session take place in a space where you feel seen, heard and accepted without judgment. Together, we work to uncover the strength, insight, and resilience that already exist within you in order to move toward the life you want to live.

You don't have to go life's difficulties alone! With Morning Sun Therapy, change is possible, and it starts with a single conversation.
