Professional statement

Welcome! I'm so glad you found my page. My name is Alison (she/her) and I'm a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) offering virtual sessions in Colorado. I'm passionate about helping individuals break free from the cycles of anxiety, panic disorder, and OCD. If you're feeling overwhelmed or frustrated by your experience, please know that support is available, and you don't have to navigate this by yourself.

My style is warm and collaborative, and I like to be intentional with our time, making sure you're getting what you need out of our sessions. I pull from IFS/ Parts Work, ERP, DBT, narrative therapy, and CBT - but most importantly, I tailor our work to what feels supportive and effective for you. In our work together you can expect me to share concrete tools and skills that help you build confidence, while also encouraging deeper self-understanding and self-compassion.

As your therapist, my goal is for you to make it to the end of therapy, feeling empowered and confident in your ability to handle the inevitable ups and downs in life.

If you’re ready to break the cycles that are holding you back, find freedom from anxiety, panic attacks, or OCD, and understand yourself on a deeper level, you’re in the right place. Please don't hesitate to reach out and schedule a free phone consultation. I'd be honored to connect with you!

Message to clients

If you’re reading this, it means something inside you is hoping for relief, clarity, or change - and that alone is a powerful first step. Looking for support is not a sign of weakness; it’s a sign that you’re listening to yourself, even if you feel lost right now. I appreciate your willingness to take that step, and I want you to know that you deserve the support you're seeking.

As a therapist, and as a fellow human, my intention is to offer a space where you can exhale. A space where your experiences matter and you can show up exactly as you are. Together, we'll create a path forward, making concrete changes while also nurturing the parts of you that long to feel seen and understood.

I love this quote from Pema Chödrön: “The healing comes from letting there be room for all of this to happen: room for grief, for relief, for misery, for joy.” My aim is to create that kind of room, where all parts of you are welcome and are met with support, understanding, and kindness.
