Hi, I'm Amanda! Avid Husker fan and Cat Mom, living in Lincoln, NE. I've moved around the country, living in 5 different states and over a dozen cities over the last 20+ years. But my road still led back 'home' to Nebraska.
I am licensed to see clients in both Colorado and Nebraska. I have a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, along with undergrads in Psychology and Criminal Justice Administration. Along with treating mental health concerns, I am licensed to treat addiction. I spent several years working in the criminal justice system and became passionate about the court-mandated population. I'm also very passionate about first responders and our armed forces, and have worked with active duty and retired military for over 5 years.
I operate from an eclectic perspective as each client has their own unique experiences. My primary modality is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but I also utilize Person-Centered, Mindfulness, and Strength Based models with clients regularly. I also offer trauma-informed therapy.
