Dr. Amy Daley is a board-certified clinical psychologist based in New York, NY. She focuses her work on supporting and empowering women who are navigating major life changes including the perinatal period and the menopause transition. Her passionate focus in these areas has encompassed over twenty years of study and clinical work. Trained in several evidence-based therapies, Dr. Daley approaches each client as an individual. With warmth and humor, she aims to set her clients at ease. She views relationship challenges through a psychodynamic lens, but can provide structured support such as DBT skills or Interpersonal Psychotherapy skills when indicated. She has gained additional training in clinical psychopharmacology to assist clients in collaborating with prescribers in treating symptoms of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, and perimenopause or the menopause transition. A formative early clinical experience was an externship at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital supporting pregnant women on bedrest and parents at the NICU. Most recently (August 2025), Dr. Daley presented on menopause at the American Psychological Association's national convention.
She gained her BA from Harvard University, her PhD from City University of New York, and a post-doctoral MA in clinical psychopharmacology from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
