Professional statement

Andrea provides a warm, supportive space for adults who may be feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, life transitions, parenting stress, or relationship challenges. Many of the people she works with find themselves lying awake with racing thoughts, feeling pulled in too many directions, or trying to balance caring for others while also caring for themselves. Andrea especially enjoys supporting individuals navigating pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and the emotional complexities of parenting and family life.

Her approach is compassionate, collaborative, and deeply non-judgmental. Andrea believes that therapy should feel like a space where you can exhale and be fully yourself. She meets clients where they are while gently helping them explore patterns, gain insight, and develop practical tools for managing stress, emotions, and life’s challenges. Her goal is to help clients feel understood, supported, and more confident in their ability to navigate what they’re facing.

Andrea is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina and Maine with over a decade of experience in the mental health field. Her professional background includes working as a child and family therapist as well as providing telehealth therapy to adults across a wide range of concerns.

She offers convenient virtual therapy sessions so clients can receive support from the comfort and privacy of their own space. Andrea is passionate about helping people feel less alone in their struggles and more empowered as they move toward greater balance, clarity, and well-being.

Message to clients

My hope is that therapy feels like a space where you can pause, breathe, and feel supported exactly as you are. Life can feel overwhelming at times- whether you’re navigating anxiety, parenting stress, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck—and you don’t have to carry that alone. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel safe to speak openly, explore your thoughts and emotions, and begin making sense of what you’re experiencing without fear of judgment.

As a parent myself, I understand how many roles moms and caregivers hold each day and how easy it can be to feel pulled in every direction. Balancing responsibilities, caring for others, and trying to take care of yourself can be exhausting. I bring both professional experience and personal understanding to my work, and I strive to create a space where parents feel truly seen, supported, and understood.

In our work together, we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. Together, we’ll explore patterns, build coping strategies, and develop tools that help you manage stress and reconnect with what matters most to you.

Starting therapy is a meaningful step, and it takes courage to reach out. My hope is that through our work together, you’ll feel less alone and more confident moving forward with greater clarity, balance, and self-compassion. If this resonates with you, I warmly invite you to reach out to connect.
