Professional statement

Andrew Belcher (he/him) is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and founder of Middle Way Wellness, an integrative practice for clinical therapy, coaching, and mindfulness-based workshops. With over a decade of experience, he supports individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, parenting, infertility, complex pregnancy, and caring for children with medical complexity.

Andrew’s approach combines talk and trance therapy, mindfulness practices, yoga, and breathwork to create a space of clarity, resilience, and connection. He believes therapy is not about fixing, but about rediscovering the wisdom and strength already present. Sessions are offered in-person or via HIPAA-compliant telehealth.

Message to clients

I believe therapy is a laboratory of self-exploration — a place to build the tools and skills needed to navigate both the challenges and joys of life. Therapy is not about fixing what’s broken, but about rediscovering the wisdom and vitality already within you.

Our work begins with trust and collaboration. Together, we’ll define your goals, set the rhythm of our sessions, and choose the approaches that best support you. We’ll check in regularly to see how things are going, adjusting as needed, and we’ll give as much care to endings as we do to beginnings.

My hope is that this process brings greater self-awareness, ease, and equilibrium — a calm, anchored place from which you can create a life of meaning, vibrancy, and joy.

There can be so much loneliness in our struggles, yet you don’t need to face them alone. If you have questions or are interested in working together, please reach out.
