Professional statement

I am a compassionate psychotherapist and Licensed Master Social Worker. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA and Master of Social Work degree from Utica University. I have previously worked with diverse populations, including students and adults with learning and developmental disabilities, and individuals with various mental health challenges. Additionally, I work with adults with developmental disabilities at a non-profit organization in Syracuse, NY (Person to Person: Citizen Advocacy), that focuses on reducing the social isolation commonly experienced among this community

My background includes working with adolescents and adults struggling from depression and anxiety, childhood trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and PTSD. I focus on using an eclectic approach to therapy, remaining person-centered while practicing the principles of humanistic approach, student-development theory

I currently practice various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Mindfulness, Talk Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy
