Araceli is trained and practices with a focus on Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), a cutting-edge approach that helps people better understand and work with chronic conditions such as chronic (unexplained) pain, depression/anxiety, and chronic stress-related symptoms such as migraines, dizziness/vertigo, tinnitus, and fatigue. This therapy teaches patients how to relate to their symptoms in a new way—by reducing fear, tuning into the mind-body connection, and helping the brain “unlearn” the patterns that keep symptoms stuck.
Araceli is a licensed mental health provider offering services in Texas. She is trained with a trauma-informed approach, and utilizes experiential and somatic techniques focusing on improving mind and body wellness. She works with individuals in both telehealth and outdoor settings addressing life changes, challenges, and traumas.
She is also trained in experiential therapy, offering the outdoors to those who enjoy being outside or are open to trying something new. She believes in the therapeutic benefits of connecting with nature through Walk & Talk Therapy or open-air discussions, using and appreciating the natural elements. Since beginning her work in experiential techniques and outdoor/adventure therapy, Araceli has presented at multiple conferences, to include the International Symposium on Child Abuse. She carries a master’s degree in clinical mental health. Her work history includes working with with women, parents, children and families; and psychiatric evaluations.
