Professional statement

Ashley is a licensed psychotherapist based out the Bay Area and serving clients throughout California. She works primarily with adults who are feeling overwhelmed by relationship challenges, societal and family pressures, or a persistent sense of not being “enough.” Many clients come to her during times of transition—whether adjusting to parenthood, navigating identity shifts, or seeking deeper self-understanding. Ashley is especially passionate about supporting parents who want relief from day-to-day stress while also exploring how their past experiences influence their present relationships and emotional lives.

Ashley's approach is holistic and integrative, viewing clients from a whole person perspective rather than a list of symptoms. Ashley is trained in psychodynamic therapy and incorporates somatic (body-based) and mindfulness practices to help clients develop insight, emotional awareness, and self-compassion. In sessions, she draws on free association and present-moment exploration to uncover patterns shaped by earlier experiences and to transform clients’ relationships with their emotions, bodies, and with others.

Ashley's style is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative, while also being direct and thoughtfully challenging. She believes purposeful change happens in a space where clients feel supported and understood, and where honest reflection is gently encouraged. Together, she and her clients work toward goals that feel aligned with their values, needs, and desired growth.

Ashley earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California, and has an established background in private practice working with diverse populations. This range of experience allows her to understand how life’s challenges can emerge at any stage. Outside of therapy, Ashley enjoys hiking, yoga, dancing, and going to the beach with her husband and children.

Message to clients

You’ve made it this far, and that matters. Choosing to seek support is a significant step, and it’s not always an easy one. Finding the “right” therapist can feel daunting, especially with so many options available. I truly believe meaningful therapy happens when there is a strong sense of connection and trust between client and therapist. If you feel we might be a good fit, I invite you to reach out so we can explore that together.

Starting therapy, or returning to it, can feel intimidating. I aim to make the process as clear and supportive as possible. Send me a message and we can book a phone consult. On the introductory phone call we’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, explore how I may be able to help, and get a sense of whether working together feels right. If it does, we’ll schedule an initial session. The first session is a space to get to know one another and begin identifying what you’d like to focus on throughout the therapy process.

Ongoing sessions focus on what you’re experiencing in the here and now, which I've found to be a powerful way to deepen self-awareness and experience meaningful change. Therapy is more than symptom relief; it’s about honoring yourself as a whole person and building insight and skills that help you feel more confident, grounded, and equipped to navigate life’s challenges. I would be honored to support you on this journey.
