Professional statement

Her therapeutic approach is collaborative and skills-based, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She focuses on helping clients identify symptoms, recognize triggers, and build practical tools to navigate emotional distress more effectively. Sessions are tailored to each individual’s needs, with an emphasis on increasing insight, strengthening coping strategies, and fostering long-term emotional resilience.

She has over 15 years of experience in the mental health field and has worked across a range of clinical settings. Her professional background includes work in CBAT programs for adolescents, inpatient levels of care for adults, and case management with individuals living with severe mental illness. This breadth of experience informs her thoughtful, grounded approach to treatment and allows her to meet clients at varying levels of need.

She has been in private practice since October 2024 and currently offers telehealth-only services. Evening appointments are available to accommodate clients with busy schedules, and she provides a free 15-minute consultation to discuss therapeutic goals and determine fit.

Message to clients

Have you ever felt like your brain is an overpowered machine that just keeps running and running with no breaks? Are you experiencing anxiety, panic disorder, depression, negative thoughts, low self-esteem and or struggling with mood lability? The mind is a powerful organ and can be difficult to combat. Don’t ever think that you must fight this fight alone, I am here to help with a non-judgmental compassionate approach. I have worked in the mental health field for over a decade and am here to help you identify negative thought patterns and or triggers as well as enhance coping skills to get through life stressors.

My Yorkshire Terrier Hadley may occasionally pop into telehealth sessions. She’s needy, cute, and takes her co-therapist duties very seriously!
