Professional statement

I work with people whose nervous systems have been shaped by chaos, unpredictability, or being told that what they felt and saw wasn’t real. Many of my clients live with CPTSD, dissociation, anxiety, or emotional overwhelm and wonder, “Why am I so triggered right now?” Together we make sense of those reactions through a trauma-informed lens, so your responses feel understandable instead of frightening.

I believe therapy should be a place where reality is not minimized and pain is not brushed aside—a space where you will be believed, respected, and met as a whole person. I bring warmth, directness, and real-life tools, but also a willingness to simply be with you when things feel heavy. I am neutral in that I will not judge you—but I am never neutral about harm—and you can expect compassion, honesty, and a steady, human presence while we untangle what you’ve been carrying.

Together we’ll focus on:

~Understanding how trauma shaped your nervous system

~Reducing anxiety, dissociation, and emotional overwhelm

~Building skills to feel safer in relationships

~Strengthening boundaries and self-trust

~Helping all parts of you feel heard and respected

My approach blends DBT, parts-informed work, and nervous-system regulation to help you move from survival mode toward choice and connection. We will go at a pace your system can tolerate, learning how to grieve what needs grieving, set boundaries, and rebuild a sense of safety in your body and relationships.

Message to clients

Starting therapy—especially when you’re living with Complex PTSD, DID, or the effects of long-term trauma—can feel overwhelming. You might worry about being “too much,” not knowing where to start, or whether you’ll really be understood. If that’s where you are right now, I want you to know: you’re not alone, and it’s okay to take this step at your own pace.

My approach to therapy is gentle, collaborative, and deeply respectful of your unique process. You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out. Whether you're seeking stability, internal communication, or a space where all parts of you can be seen and supported, I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion and curiosity.

It’s an act of courage to begin healing. If you’re ready—or even just thinking about it—I welcome you.
