Professional statement

Does it feel like you’re stuck between an exhausted body and a worried mind? Maybe you’re repeating the same draining relationship patterns while navigating a chronic illness that leaves you feeling overwhelmed and disconnected from your own intuition.

Our sessions are a space to find your footing again. We go beyond just talking to explore the wisdom your body holds. With warmth and curiosity, we’ll get to know all the different parts of you—the inner critic, the people-pleaser, the tired one—and gently release the old wounds that keep your nervous system on high alert.

For the deeper, stuck memories, we can use more focused methods to help your mind and body process them, freeing you to live more fully in the present.

This body-centered approach is especially vital if you're navigating a chronic illness. As a Lyme-literate therapist, I offer a space where you don’t have to explain your experience, but can instead process its emotional weight and reclaim a sense of hope and selfhood. The goal isn’t to fix you; it’s to help you feel more at home in your own skin.

Grounded in the belief that you are whole, even when you feel broken, my approach is compassionate and trauma-informed, seeing your struggles not as pathology, but as intelligent adaptations to overwhelming experiences. Because these adaptations arise from our full life context, our sessions will always make space to explore the impact of your family history, cultural background, and societal dynamics of power and privilege. Ultimately, this means your intuition and lived experience are treated as the most important voices in the room.

If what you've read here resonates with you, I invite you to reach out.
