Cadence Chiasson is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist located in Morrison, CO and is also available to see clients located across CO, AZ, FL, IL, MA, and VA online.
Cadence works exclusively with women and girls 16+. She specializes in helping those who are in the habit of placing their needs, desires, and ideas behind those of others. Many of Cadence’s clients suffer from various anxieties, with symptoms like spiraling thoughts, catastrophizing, and negative self-talk. Cadence helps her clients to take a look at their patterns and start to believe in themselves and their self-worth.
Cadence’s approach to therapy focuses on Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. Though known for the treatment of trauma, Cadence also utilizes EMDR to help alleviate anxiety and to gain self confidence and increase clients' sense of self worth. This therapy modality helps clients put traumatic memories and overwhelming emotions behind them so that they can move ahead in their lives.
Cadence earned her Master’s degree from the University of Massachusetts, Boston and an undergraduate degree from Ithaca College. She is passionate about providing mental health support for those who need it and has practiced across many different mental health settings. She wants to empower her clients to put themselves first and to prioritize their wellbeing.

I am accepting new individual female clients for EMDR therapy. This can be adjunct work with your current talk therapy, or a stand alone service with me with talk therapy mixed in.

EMDR Intensives are currently available on select Tuesdays and Saturdays. A 5 hour Intensive includes 1 hour appointment prior to the Intensive, a 3 hour Intensive session, and a 1 hour follow up session. Please note, these sessions are not covered by insurance and a superbill will not be provided. Please contact Cadence for more information.
