Cam Murphy, LPCC, is a compassionate mental health counselor who offers trauma-informed, LGBTQIA+ affirming, neurodiversity-affirming, and anti-oppressive care. Drawing from somatic body psychotherapy, EMDR, mindfulness, and relational approaches, Cam creates a collaborative space where clients can reconnect with themselves, honor their lived experiences, and move toward healing at their own pace.
If you're ready to explore your inner world with curiosity, self-compassion, and courage, we may be a great fit. Together, we can examine patterns shaped by past experiences, relationships, systems of oppression, and survival strategies while cultivating greater self-understanding and agency. Cam welcomes and celebrates people of all sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions, relationship structures, neurotypes, cultural backgrounds, and abilities. They also support individuals navigating substance use, recovery, and harm reduction.
Grounded in attachment theory, the mind-body connection, and an understanding of how trauma is held in both individuals and communities, Cam helps clients navigate challenges such as anxiety, trauma, depression, addiction, relationship concerns, identity exploration, and personal growth. Their approach recognizes that distress is often shaped not only by individual experiences but also by social, cultural, and systemic contexts. Therapy is guided by collaboration, consent, cultural humility, and respect for each person's inherent wisdom and resilience.
Cam is committed to creating an affirming environment where clients can strengthen self-trust, build emotional resilience, deepen self-awareness, and create meaningful, sustainable change aligned with their values.
All sessions are conducted virtually.
