Professional statement

Carmen specializes in supporting working women who are navigating stress, anxiety, burnout, and the pressures that come with balancing work, relationships, and daily responsibilities. Many of the women she works with are used to being dependable, hardworking, and showing up for others, often while quietly carrying their own worries and emotional exhaustion. Her clients may be feeling overwhelmed, struggling to set boundaries, or noticing that the constant pressure to keep everything together has begun to take a toll on their well-being.

She works with working women from a variety of backgrounds and career paths, including those in corporate roles, healthcare, education, entrepreneurship, and service industries. Many of her clients are women who are balancing demanding jobs while also managing family responsibilities, relationships, and personal expectations.

Her therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. She help clients better understand their patterns, manage anxiety, and develop healthier ways of coping with stress. Therapy with her is a space where clients can slow down, reflect on what they are experiencing, and begin to build tools that help them feel more balanced, confident, and emotionally supported.

Working with Carmen offers clients a supportive environment where they can speak openly without judgment and begin prioritizing their own needs. Together, she helps clients explore practical strategies for managing stress, setting boundaries, and creating a life that feels more sustainable and fulfilling. If you’re a working woman who feels overwhelmed, anxious, or burned out, reaching out for support can be an important first step toward feeling more grounded and in control again.

Message to clients

Before starting therapy, I want you to know that you don’t have to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say. Many of the women I work with come into their first session feeling nervous, unsure, or wondering if their concerns are “serious enough” for therapy. The truth is that if something is weighing on you—stress, anxiety, burnout, relationship challenges, or the pressure of trying to balance everything—you deserve a space where you can talk about it openly and honestly.

In our work together, my goal is to create a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where you can slow down and reflect on what you’ve been carrying. I want to know you—your experiences, what has been challenging for you, and what you hope might change. We move at a pace that feels comfortable and respectful of where you are.

My hope for you is that therapy becomes a place where you feel heard, understood, and supported. Over time, we will work together to help you better understand your patterns, manage stress and anxiety more effectively, and develop tools that allow you to feel more balanced and grounded in your life.

Sessions are offered through secure telehealth, making it easier for you to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own space without adding another commute to an already busy schedule. A free consultation is available to you if you would like to briefly connect, ask questions, and see if the practice feels like the right fit.
