Professional statement

Caroline works with male executives and men in high-visibility careers carrying secrets that success was supposed to fix. Many of her clients have overcoming-the-odds stories, now holding the career, the home, the relationship that looks right from the outside. Privately, childhood wounds, shame, and compulsive sexual behaviors have followed them into every room.

The stakes of high-visibility life don't just add pressure; they amplify everything happening underneath. Shame compounds faster when reputation is on the line. Compulsive behaviors escalate when stress has no safe outlet. Relationship strain feels more dangerous. The longer things stay hidden, the more costly the eventual fallout becomes — professionally, relationally, and personally.

Her practice centers on the connection between trauma, shame and compulsive sexual behavior — porn addiction, sex addiction, and intimacy problems that don't resolve through willpower alone. What looks like a behavioral problem on the surface, is often rooted in something older and deeper. That's where the real work happens to help move clients out of shame and disconnection and into joy, self-control, and connection.

Caroline is a Certified EMDR Therapist and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with a clinical background in psychodynamic therapy and the treatment of Complex PTSD. Her work sits at the intersection of trauma, shame, and compulsive sexual behaviors— with a deep understanding of how a high visibility lifestyle puts a magnifying glass on all of it.

She maintains a small, intentional caseload for men who value premium, personalized care and require absolute discretion. Many of her clients say therapy with Caroline is the first time they've felt genuinely understood. Expressing they're more honest in this space than anywhere else in their lives — thats the goal, and what she strives to create for her clients.

Message to clients

What you're carrying has likely been private for a long time. Reputation matters, and vulnerability has a cost in the world you operate in; that mode isn't a light switch that flips off everyday when you leave the office. Eventually making it more challenging to feel like your authentic self vs. the masked, buttoned up professional version. What I want you to know before we start is that nothing you bring into this space will change how I see you. These patterns make sense given what you've been through. Understanding that is usually where things begin to shift.

Progress here doesn't look like white-knuckling through urges or finally having "enough willpower". It looks like understanding — for the first time — why this pattern exists, what it's been solving for, and how to change it. When that understanding lands, the grip of the behavior loosens in a way that discipline alone never quite manages.

Over time, clients move from managing a secret to no longer needing one. Relationships that felt blocked begin to open. The gap between the public version of yourself and the private one starts to close — not because you've gotten better at hiding, but because there's less to hide. That's what this work is actually aimed at.

Sessions are confidential and built entirely around your situation. The goal isn't just stopping a behavior. It's reclaiming intimacy, control, and joy rather than coping.

A 15-minute consultation is a straightforward, confidential place to start.
