Professional statement

Surrounded by a telehealth office full of unicorns, rainbows, and pink, I offer a safe, affirming, and collaborative environment when working with my clients. I offer a person-centered approach to therapy, helping clients focus on who they are, determine who they want to be, and help them navigate how to achieve their goal in a healthy & safe way. I also utilize CBT techniques and positive psychology principles such as positive self-talk, highlighting your strengths, finding your identity and self esteem building. There's just something about talking about your life story to someone surrounded by unicorns just makes sense.

I am a trauma informed counselor with experience working with clients of all ages and backgrounds. I am passionate about working with people of all ages who struggle with anxiety, depression, social anxiety, relationship issues, ADD/ADHD, AuDHD, Autism, survivors of trauma, and those who are members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

My ultimate goal is to help guide and support my clients during times of discomfort and uncertainty. My open mindedness and reassuring personality help create a non-judgmental, safe, affirming, and collaborative environment for my clients.

Message to clients

It is my belief and experience that you will get more out of your life if you are willing to embrace who you are and move forward as your true, authentic self. Therapy is an important step in discovering the world around you and finding your place in it. My therapy style is very relaxed, while maintaining authenticity and candor. I think it is important to practice what I preach, so I am part of the LGBTQIA+ community, neurodivergent, and participate in therapy, as well. I believe in helping each client find what their goals are, and discover pragmatic and tangible ways to achieve those goals. Let's get you to healing!
