Professional statement

Christina is a neurodivergent-affirming psychotherapist offering virtual services in Howard County, Maryland.

She specializes in helping parents and families understand and support their neurodivergent children, teens, and adult children. Christina is also passionate about guiding adults navigating the profound identity shift and self-doubt that comes with suspecting or receiving a late-in-life diagnosis of Autism, ADHD, coupled with anxiety, depression, and mood dysregulation.

Christina's individual therapeutic services are available to young adults navigating critical transitions, like college or the workforce. She also works with older adults. She utilizes effective, strength-based methods such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Somatic Experiencing (Trauma-Informed), and Strategic Planning.

The core of her practice is helping clients leverage their personal strengths to find balance, increase presence, and transform life's challenges into successes. Christina’s perspective is rooted in empowering you to adapt, evolve, and step into a happier, healthier way of living.

Message to clients

Hello, and thanks for reading about my practice.

Being a therapist is a mission for me. I want people to learn how to navigate traumatic events and life transitions; people need support, and sometimes an unbiased ear, which is why I'm here for you. Your searching for the right therapist is a huge step toward taking control of what holds you back from truly living your life.

A core mission of my practice is delivering neuroaffirming care, especially for individuals with ADHD and those on the Autism Spectrum. I understand the unique challenges of executive functioning, sensory needs, and emotional regulation. We'll work together by leveraging your inherent neurodivergent strengths and creating concrete tools that support your unique operating system, ensuring you feel truly seen and understood.

I've helped many people sort through very difficult situations, intrusive thoughts, and difficult feelings. I believe that clients should walk away from each session with something tangible related to a life challenge of some kind, and if you just want to talk, that's okay too! I'm here to listen and guide, and you decide where we go.

Take that step by sending me a message, and let me know how I can support you.

Here for you,

Christina~
