Message to clients

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Rhode Island and provide online and in-person individual therapy to adolescents and adults. My areas of specialization and interest include anxiety, depression, masculinity issues, relationship concerns, college student mental health, and developing a healthy and authentic identity. I aim to take all intersecting aspects of my clients’ identities into account, while also recognizing the vast diversity that exists within specific groups.

I am an integrative therapist and combine aspects of psychodynamic therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills, and mindfulness-based approaches. I will create an individualized treatment plan for each of my clients and take a collaborative approach to ensure therapy is effective.

Since everyone comes into therapy with their own preferences and varying levels of comfort with discussing their struggles, I make sure to remain open to feedback and try to work at a speed that is most helpful to my clients. I also integrate humor into my treatment when it is appropriate.
