Message to clients

I’m Dawnne Howard, a Licensed Professional Counselor who supports those individuals having difficulty navigating depression, anxiety, low self-worth, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and processing and coping with past traumas. I offer a warm, safe, mindful space where I hope my clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to live their best lives. I believe developing a strong, trusting, therapeutic relationship which creates greater likelihood that our time together will lead to you achieving your therapy goals.

My approach is trauma-informed, person-centered, relational, and rooted in compassion, empathy, and respect. I draw from CBT, mindfulness, and Solution-Focused therapy, and try to identify and focus on your individuality and your strengths. My hope is to help my clients feel more connected, safe, and empowered while bringing heart, humor, and a warm presence to the room. I believe therapy isn't about fixing what's wrong with you but about helping you to identify and connect with the wisdom and wholeness that already exist in you, to heal in your own, individual way.

I feel privileged to walk alongside my clients on their journeys to live life with clarity and joy.
