Professional statement

Elizabeth Blisko is a licensed Mental Health Counselor in the states of New York and Florida.

She specializes in anxiety disorders, relationship issues, perinatal mental health and infertility. Elizabeth's gained a dual master's degree from Columbia University and has been in private practice for over 10 years.

Elizabeth's style is rooted in a cognitive behavioral background but she often pulls from other styles of therapy as she believes that therapy is never a "one size fits all" approach. For over a decade, Elizabeth has helped many people "unstick" themselves and regain control over their thoughts, feelings and behaviors.

Message to clients

If you’re someone who looks like you have it all together on the outside but feels overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck on the inside; you’re not alone. I work with high-functioning individuals who are used to pushing through, but are ready for something to actually feel different.

As your therapist, I won’t just sit back and nod, I’ll challenge you, support you, and help you take a closer look at the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I believe meaningful change happens when you feel both understood and pushed to grow.

Together, we’ll identify the thoughts and behaviors that are no longer serving you and build a personalized toolkit to help you respond differently.

We’ll work together to help you regain control, so your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors feel like something you’re directing, not something that’s running you. If you’re ready to do the work, I’m here to do it with you.
