Professional statement

I am a Limited Licensed Master Social Worker (LLMSW) and Certified Recovery Peer Specialist (CRPS) dedicated to supporting individuals navigating mental health and substance use challenges. With both professional training and lived experience, I bring a compassionate, nonjudgmental, and authentic approach to therapy.

I have experience working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, substance use, co-occurring disorders, and life transitions. My background includes providing individual and group therapy, crisis support, and helping clients navigate systems of care and access meaningful resources.

I utilize evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy, while tailoring each session to meet your unique needs. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel empowered to heal, grow, and move forward in your recovery.

Message to clients

Life can feel heavy at times—especially when you’re navigating anxiety, depression, substance use, or major life changes. You don’t have to face it alone. I aim to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported without judgment. I believe real healing comes through genuine connection, and I show up with compassion, honesty, and respect. With both professional training and lived experience, I’m able to truly relate to and support the challenges you may be facing.

I understand firsthand that mental health and recovery can feel overwhelming at times. By combining professional training with lived experience, I’m able to connect with and support individuals facing addiction, co-occurring disorders, mood disorders, self-harm, and suicidal thoughts.

I know that asking for help isn’t easy—it takes a lot of courage and strength to take that first step. I’ve been in that place myself, and it took me a long time to reach out for help. The fact that you’re here means you’re already further along than you mightI realize. I would be an honor to walk beside you as you continue your process healing and growth.
