Professional statement

Hi, I’m Elizabeth. I’m a therapist with an MSW, licensed as an LLMSW in Michigan and an RCSWI in Florida. I’m also a Certified Recovery Peer Specialist (CRPS) and Certified Interventionist. I blend professional training with lived experience to create a safe, compassionate, and trauma-informed space where healing, growth, and self-discovery can flourish.

I support individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, self-harm, addiction, and co-occurring disorders. My approach is warm and collaborative—I draw from CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, expressive arts, and other evidence-based practices to help each person find balance, stability, and a renewed sense of joy and purpose in life.

Message to clients

Life can feel overwhelming at times, especially when faced with challenges like anxiety, depression, substance use, or difficult life transitions. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes. I believe that healing happens through connection, and I strive to meet every client with compassion, authenticity, and respect. I bring a blend of professional expertise and lived experience that allows me to truly understand the struggles my clients face.

With both professional training and lived experience, I understand the challenges of mental health and recovery. I specialize in addiction, co-occurring disorders, mood disorders, self-harm, and suicidal thoughts, using compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each person’s path toward healing.

While reaching out for help can feel intimidating, and it takes real courage to take that first step. If you’re feeling stuck, stressed, or unsure of where to begin, you don’t have to face it alone. Together, we can create a safe, compassionate space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered on your path toward healing and growth.
