Her practice is inclusive and grounded in respect for each person’s unique experiences, identities, and life circumstances. Emily strives to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel seen, heard, and valued throughout their therapeutic journey.
Emily’s therapeutic approach is highly person-centered. She prioritizes getting to know each client as an individual and believes that therapy should be tailored to each person’s specific needs, goals, and lived experiences. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, Emily collaborates closely with clients, honoring where they are in their journey and supporting growth at a pace that feels right for them.
Emily is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate and earned her master’s degree from Northwestern. She brings a lifelong commitment to the helping profession, with professional experience that began in an elementary school setting and expanded into work with nonprofit organizations across the state. These experiences have shaped her understanding of individuals across the lifespan and from a wide range of communities, ultimately leading her to open her own private practice.
Emily offers services exclusively through virtual sessions, providing flexibility and accessibility for clients. Appointments are available Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing clients to engage in therapy from the comfort of their own space.
