Gavin is a therapist working in person in Hudson and Rhinebeck and also seeing clients online. He uses mindful somatic experiential approaches including Hakomi and especially a method called Recreation of the Self (RCS) created by Jon Eisman. RCS is about awakening and liberation. You have an innate, unbroken, whole, Organic Self which holds the blueprint for your life. The wounding you experienced caused pain, overwhelm, and confusion and you fragmented your consciousness into many trance-like wounded states of consciousness to deal with this, separating yourself from your natural organic nature and Self. You then came to identify with these states as actually you, leading to anxiety, depression and other self-limiting and self-defeating beliefs and behaviors.
RCS will help you mindfully and compassionately recognize the trance like nature of the wounded states you often find yourself in, disidentify from these states, and recognize and practice your ability to choose and be embodied in your innate organic Self. This is a process of gently pausing and recognizing rather than analyzing or fixing.
Returning to the Organic Self you will gain greater clarity, presence, creativity, and feel mindful, unforced and Self-authored. This is the You that is free from fear, depression, anxiety, trauma and old adaptations. If this speaks to you feel free to contact Gavin for a consultation of up to thirty minutes, in person or by remote.
