Message to clients

I know it can take a lot just to reach out and schedule that first session, so I want you to know you won’t have to do this alone. In our work together, we’ll slow things down, make sense of what’s been happening, and look at what’s actually true about you and your story—not just what shame or fear has been telling you. My style is collaborative and practical; we’ll use evidence‑based tools like CBT, DBT, and EMDR in a way that fits you, not a one‑size‑fits‑all plan.

If you’re a parent bringing your child or teen, or an adult who’s been through trauma, grief, or high‑stress work like first response or aviation, my hope is that you’ll feel both safe and challenged in the best way. We’ll pay attention to real‑life changes, not just talk. Sometimes that looks like straightforward coping skills, sometimes EMDR processing, and sometimes it includes my therapy dog, Zoey, who helps the room feel calmer and more approachable. My goal is that you leave sessions feeling a little more grounded, a little more hopeful, and more connected to the truth that you are not broken or beyond help.
