Professional statement

Hannah Ashworth, MS, LPC-Associate is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate at Pathfinder Wellness Mental Health Clinic in Spring, TX. She works with adolescents ages 10 and up and adults who are navigating complex trauma, eating disorders, relational concerns, and the particular challenges that come with early adulthood. Her clients often arrive feeling anxious, disconnected, or stuck — unsure why the strategies that used to work have stopped helping them.

Hannah is EMDR-trained and takes a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach, keeping the therapeutic relationship at the center of everything she does. She draws on EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Post Induction Therapy, and holistic trauma treatment modalities, tailoring her methods to the unique clinical needs of each client. For clients carrying trauma that talk therapy alone hasn't been able to touch, EMDR offers a structured, evidence-based path toward processing and relief — and Hannah brings that training directly into her work at Pathfinder.

Her clinical focus includes complex and developmental trauma, eating disorders, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and relational patterns that show up across friendships, family systems, and romantic relationships. She has particular experience supporting young adults navigating identity, early relational trauma, and the transition into adult life — a period that carries its own distinct pressures and is often underserved in clinical settings.

Hannah holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Crisis Counseling from Liberty University. She is currently accepting new clients for both in-person sessions in North Houston and telehealth across Texas, and offers a complimentary 15-minute consultation for anyone considering starting therapy.

Message to clients

I want to start by acknowledging something: getting here took effort. Whether you've been thinking about therapy for a while or you made the decision recently, reaching out is not a small thing — and I don't take lightly that you're considering trusting someone with what you're carrying.

My goal is to be that person who shows up consistently — honest, curious about your story, and genuinely invested in where you're trying to go. I won't rush the process or push you toward goals that aren't yours. What we work on, and how we work on it, will be shaped by you. I'll bring the clinical tools and the structure; you bring the expertise on your own life.

If you're dealing with trauma, struggling with your relationship with food and your body, or finding that your relationships keep running into the same walls — I want you to know that those things are workable. Not easy, but workable. And you don't have to have it all figured out before we start. That's what the work is for.
