Hasan Moody is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Hunter College graduate originally from East Harlem and still currently located in New York. He is experienced working with adolescents, young adults, and middle adulthood. On a personal note, He is also person of faith, a husband, and a father, all of which fuel his passion for helping others.
Hasan views therapy as a partnership between therapist and client. Modalities and approaches to care include, but are not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT,) Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Narrative Therapy (NT.) Hasan is strengths- based in his approach and is intentional to never pathologize clients, regardless of diagnosis. Hasan has experience helping Clients address or heal from a variety of challenges including: grief, stress, depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues, anger and management, among many others.
Rapport and trust are integral in a successful therapeutic relationship, and this will be at the center of your work with Hasan. Hasan is international with cultivating an authentic and meaningful space conducive to achievement of his client's goals.
Currently Hasan is only meeting with clients virtually. He offers free 15 minute consultation calls so both parties can learn more about the other, before committing to therapy.
