Professional statement

Jared is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) who works with children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and stressful life transitions. He also supports individuals experiencing work or school-related stress, helping them better understand their challenges while building practical skills to manage everyday life more effectively. Jared focuses on helping clients recognize their existing strengths and develop tools that allow them to feel more confident, capable, and supported as they move through difficult moments.

Jared takes a person-centered and collaborative approach to therapy. He believes that meaningful progress begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, warmth, and respect. In sessions, Jared strives to create a nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable being themselves and exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences openly. By meeting clients where they are and moving at a pace that feels manageable, he helps individuals develop insight, strengthen coping skills, and work toward lasting change.

Jared earned his Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Seton Hall University and has experience working in both private practice and outpatient settings. Through this work, he has supported a wide range of clients with diverse needs and life experiences, allowing him to approach therapy with flexibility, curiosity, and compassion.

Outside of his clinical work, Jared enjoys staying active, playing video games, and spending time with friends, family, and his two cats. These interests help him stay balanced and bring an authentic, relatable presence to his work with clients.

Message to clients

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and my goal is to make that process feel as comfortable and supportive as possible. I work to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are—without pressure or judgment. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, stress, life changes, or just feeling stuck, we’ll work together to better understand what you're experiencing and find practical ways to move forward.

In our sessions, I focus on building a strong, trusting relationship where you feel heard and respected. I believe that meaningful change happens when you feel safe enough to explore your thoughts and experiences honestly. Together, we’ll identify your strengths, develop coping strategies, and take steps toward the goals that matter most to you.

My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel supported, encouraged, and empowered to create positive change in your life. You don’t have to figure everything out on your own.
