Jennifer Giuglianotti, MS, BC-DMT, LCAT works with adults and children (ages 7+) who feel overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally stuck, or disconnected, often after trying traditional therapy without the depth of change they were hoping for. Many of her adult clients are high-functioning and capable on the outside, yet carry chronic stress, trauma, or nervous-system patterns that impact relationships, focus, or emotional well-being. Children and adolescents often seek her support for anxiety, emotional regulation, sensory sensitivity, or difficulty expressing feelings verbally.
Her work is somatic, experiential, and trauma-informed. Rather than focusing on insight alone, Jennifer helps clients understand and shift patterns held in the body and nervous system through body-based awareness, creative processes, and attuned therapeutic presence. Sessions may include movement, grounding practices, imagery, or expressive arts, always guided by safety, collaboration, and the client’s pace. This approach is especially well-suited for clients who feel they “understand” their challenges but still feel stuck.
Jennifer is a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist and Board-Certified Dance/Movement Therapist with over 15 years of clinical experience. She has served as a Clinical Director and has worked across outpatient, community, and private practice settings. Her background in somatic trauma therapy, attachment-based care, and expressive arts allows her to tailor therapy to each client’s unique nervous system and developmental needs.
Jennifer is the founder and Clinical Director of Balanced Life Movement, a Creative Arts Therapy group practice serving clients across New York via secure telehealth, with limited in-person availability in Westbrookville and Sullivan County. She offers private-pay services, provides superbills for out-of-network reimbursement, and intentionally maintains a smaller caseload to support depth, continuity, and high-quality care.
