Jessica Clark, LICSW, is a seasoned clinician specializing in supporting adults and adolescents impacted by trauma. She provides both trauma-focused and general psychotherapy, as well as parenting-focused treatment for caregivers. Jessica also welcomes queer-identifying clients into a supportive, affirming, and identity-aware clinical space.
Jessica brings over 15 years of experience serving individuals affected by sexual abuse and sexual exploitation. She facilitated the RI Anti-Trafficking Task Force for four years, created the state’s only intensive clinical program for trafficking survivors (the STAAR Program), and is recognized statewide as a leading expert in clinical treatment for victims of commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC).
Jessica earned her Master’s in Social Work from Rhode Island College. She is trained in Trauma-Focused CBT, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Critical Incident Desensitization (CID) Protocol, and is an Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA)–Certified Mental Health Specialist.
Grounded in the belief that no single approach works for everyone, Jessica uses a strengths-based, collaborative, and client-driven framework, tailoring treatment to each person’s unique needs and goals. She offers in-person sessions in Rumford, RI, as well as virtual therapy for clients in RI and MA.
