Professional statement

Jessica Fuller is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in South Hamilton, MA. She works with children, teenagers, and adults. Jessica is particularly passionate about supporting women, members of the LBTBQIA+ community, neuro-diverse folks, parents, and individuals experiencing life changes and transitions. She has extensive experience working with individuals with ADHD, GAD, separation anxiety, social anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder, as well as individuals who are adult children of emotionally immature parents. Jessica is a HAES (Health at Every Size) aligned clinician. She offers in person, telehealth, and hybrid options for sessions.

Jessica's style is down-to-earth, collaborative, and encouraging. Jessica takes an intersectional, multi-cultural, and strengths based approach in her work as a therapist. She draws from expressive art, mindfulness, collaborative problem solving (CPS), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), relational, play, and humanistic therapies. Jessica focuses on creative expression through art, journaling, collaging, play and grounding tools. She supports clients (and their families) with building coping skills, problem solving strategies, communication tools and facilitates exploration of creativity, compassion, and curiosity. Her approach supports clients to be more present, more confident, more assertive, and more connected.

Jessica earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Boston College, with a focus area in mental health with extra certification in trauma and immigration and refugee populations. Jessica's experience with in-home crisis work and case management is foundational to her approach as an outpatient therapist. Jessica has additional training in expressive art therapies from her time working at an expressive art therapy group practice and in collaborative problem solving, a model that believes kids do well when they have the skills and support they need.

Message to clients

As a therapist, I value creating an environment and therapeutic space that is validating, compassionate, and curious.

Change, like healing, is a slow and non-linear process. I work collaboratively with my clients and with parents to support skill-building, emotional regulation, increased community involvement, positive coping strategies, and improved relationships.

I value you as a whole and complex person, which also means celebrating and recognizing your strengths, your passions, your interests, your values, and your community and connections. You are more than the challenges you experience.

If my approach sounds like it will be a good fit for you, then schedule a free consultation, and let’s work together to create goals that help you live the life you dream of.

I look forward to being a witness to your journey.
