About Jessica Garet (she/her)
Jess Garet, LCSW, is a first-generation Latina therapist, artist, and intuitive guide whose work bridges psychotherapy with soul remembrance. Known as The Heart Doula, Jess offers a deeply attuned, body-centered approach that supports individuals in returning to the wisdom of their hearts and the intelligence of their bodies. She works closely with those navigating life transitions, identity shifts, creative expansion, and spiritual awakening—especially highly sensitive individuals, visionaries, and empathic creatives.
Jess integrates somatic psychotherapy, breathwork, energy healing, and sacred listening into her sessions. She believes healing begins when we listen to what the body knows and to how the soul reminds us of our wholeness— even within what can feel like the deep holes of living. Her practice is rooted in the sacred relational field, where grief, truth, joy, and transformation are free to emerge, unfold, and be witnessed without rush or judgment.
Since 2006, Jess has supported individuals and groups in finding their way home to themselves, including in university settings where she specialized in crisis response and student support at NYU and Pace University. Her background in the arts and vocal performance continues to inform her therapeutic presence, bringing creative expression and intuitive depth to every session. The Heart Doula Sessions are an expression of her soul’s calling and her devotion to heart-led living.
Jess currently offers remote sessions for adults located in New York and Florida. She works virtually, offering ongoing one-on-one sessions with those seeking a deeply relational, soul-centered path of healing. Her work is both trauma-informed and spirit-guided, gently accompanying others into their next becoming.
