"Joanna" Hsin-Chun Wu, LMHC, LPC(She/Her/Hers)

Hsin-Chun Wu, also goes by Joanna, is a licensed clinician in Massachusetts and Texas. She sees every individual from a holistic lens and is trained to work with adults, teens and children. She is a Registered Play Therapist™, EMDR therapist, Level-II Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and Teaching Fellow at Harvard University Graduate School of Education. She serves Massachusetts and Texas residents with life transition issues, clinical mental health struggles, and cultural/familial issues.

As the owner of Deeply Etched Counseling and Consultation, a resources hub for complex traumas, her intervention approaches are solid integrated into age-appropriate, trauma-informed, attachment-based, mind-somatic approach such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), EMDR therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Play therapy, sandtray therapy and other interventions to enhance psychosomatic connections.

For clients in Massachusetts, she offers both in-person and telehealth services. In-person sessions including play therapy are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays at her office located in Framingham. For clients in Texas, due to the natural limitation of telehealth, she only provides telehealth services for clients age 18 years and above.
