Professional statement

Jocelyn is a licensed master social worker, operating under clinical supervision. Her professional path began in the classroom, where she spent several years as a teacher cultivating a deep understanding of human development and resilience. Her experience teaching at Shade Tree Academy, specifically working with children impacted by foster care, provided her with a profound perspective on the complexities of childhood trauma and the necessity of stable, compassionate support. This foundational background in education informs her clinical work at Deserts Bloom Therapy, where she specializes in helping clients navigate attachment wounds, grief, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and complex family dynamics.

At the core of Jocelyn’s practice is a strengths-based philosophy that empowers clients to recognize their inherent capabilities as a primary pathway to healing. She is specifically trained in supporting the Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), providing a nuanced and validating environment for those who process the world more deeply. By fostering self-compassion and creating a safe, nurturing sanctuary, she helps individuals move through life’s challenges with a renewed sense of agency and confidence.

To ensure lasting, meaningful change, Jocelyn integrates a diverse range of evidence-based modalities tailored to each client's unique needs. Her integrative approach includes Play Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, and Art Therapy, alongside structured interventions such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness. This holistic toolkit allows her to provide specialized care for children (ages 5+), adolescents, and women, helping them transform their vulnerabilities into lasting strengths.

This is a supervised private practice. It is owned and/or managed by a master’s level, nonindependent licensee under Board approved clinical supervision pursuant to A.A.C. R46217. The Board approved clinical supervisor of this practice is:

Name: Lindsey Reynoso, LCSW, Arizona

Message to clients

Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. Reaching out for support is a brave and significant step, and I want you to know that you are warmly welcome in this space. My passion for mental health started early on, sparked by a personal family journey that showed me just how much a little extra support can change a life. That experience stayed with me, and it’s why I’ve dedicated my career to making sure no one has to navigate their heaviest burdens alone.

My background in elementary and special education from Northern Arizona University, along with my Master’s degrees in Educational Counseling and Social Work, allows me to bring a gentle and developmentally informed perspective to our work. As a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), I blend my professional training with a heart-centered approach to help you—or your child—find a sense of hope and resilience. I specialize in working with children (ages 5+), adolescents, young adults, and women, focusing on your unique story to help you reach your fullest potential.

In our sessions, you’ll find a warm, collaborative environment where you are truly seen, heard, and understood. My goal is to create a sanctuary where we can work together to turn life’s challenges into catalysts for growth. Whether you’re processing complex emotions or navigating a difficult transition, I am here to walk alongside you with empathy and genuine care.
