Therapy can be a place to slow down, think clearly, and better understand what is happening beneath the surface of your life. Many people come to therapy when they are feeling overwhelmed, burned out, disconnected, or ready for change, but unsure where to begin. You may be carrying stress, academic or professional pressure, questions about identity or belonging, chronic illness, relationship concerns, or recurring emotional patterns that have become difficult to manage on your own.
I work with adults, graduate students, and professionals across North Carolina through secure telehealth. My approach is straightforward, collaborative, and respectful of your pace. I do not believe therapy should be one-size-fits-all. Some clients come in ready to talk, while others need time and support to find the words. Both are welcome.
My work integrates emotional insight, practical skill-building, and structured goal-setting. Depending on your needs, our work may draw from DBT, person-centered therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy. Together, we may explore anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, identity, health concerns, life transitions, or the patterns that keep showing up in your relationships and daily life.
As a biracial clinician who lives with chronic illness, I understand that identity, culture, health, and lived experience can deeply shape a person’s emotional world. My goal is to offer a steady space where you can feel seen, taken seriously, and supported as you move toward greater clarity, steadiness, and meaningful change.
