Professional statement

Julianne Lamb is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker located in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA who supports young adults and adults. Many of Julianne’s clients struggle with anxiety or depression, which might interrupt their daily lives. They often feel like they can’t manage their emotions, with sadness, fear, frustration, or hopelessness bubbling up without specific cause. Julianne also works with people who would like to work on relationships or family issues and those facing work stress.

Julianne’s approach to working with clients incorporates therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness. Clients learn how they unconsciously connect thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, especially when those patterns lead to distressing emotions. They also learn how to be more present and self-aware, which can be helpful when overwhelmed by emotion.

Julianne earned a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California and has over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. She is passionate about working with communities and helping people improve their wellbeing.

Message to clients

Hi, I'm Julie!

I've been in the MH field for almost 15 years and working as a therapist for four years. In that time I've developed a fun, meet you where you are at kind of vibe while maintaining professionalism and holding my clients accountable. I enjoy working with young adults who experience anxiety and/or depression or who are struggling with life adjustments. These adjustments may include college life, work life, relationships, or being parents.

We'll start by getting to know each other and building trust and a rapport. Then I like to dive into what is presently happening to cause your symptoms and taking a look at your thoughts and actions around those triggers. From there we'll work on rewriting those thoughts and behaviors. I believe in taking small steps in order to build a successful life change for the better! I end each session developing an action plan with my client to focus on in between sessions in order to help clients stay on track.

I offer free 10 minute phone consultations prior to setting up an intake. Please feel free to contact me or set up a consult yourself!

I look forward to meeting you!
