Professional statement

Dr. Manning specializes in working with adults living with chronic pain, chronic illness, and persistent fatigue. Her clients often feel exhausted not only by their physical symptoms, but also by the emotional toll of navigating medical systems, shifting identities, and the unpredictability of their health. She works with individuals experiencing conditions such as fibromyalgia, autoimmune disorders, long COVID, migraines, and other complex or medically unexplained symptoms.

Her therapy approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based care. Dr. Manning integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), acceptance-based therapies, and mind-body strategies to help clients regulate their nervous systems, reduce symptom-related distress, and improve daily functioning. She believes that symptoms are real and impactful, and her work focuses on helping clients build resilience, flexibility, and a meaningful life alongside ongoing health challenges.

Dr. Manning earned her Ph.D. from the University of Houston and completed her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the VA Boston Healthcare System. There, she trained within interdisciplinary medical teams supporting individuals coping with chronic health and mental health conditions.

She is based in Texas and offers virtual therapy to adults throughout the state via secure telehealth.
