Katie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who practices social work in both corporate and clinical settings. She brings an eclectic background to her clinical work, inspired by the many life experiences she has had and the fascinating and resilient people she has met along the way.
Katie focuses on supporting adults who may be experiencing anxiety, panic, depression, PTSD, childhood and/or ongoing trauma, medical fear/trauma, dissociation, workplace stress and/or conflict, performance anxiety, communication issues, fear of conflict, uncomfortable body sensations, parenting stress, adoption & foster care issues, and experiences of bias & discrimination.
In addition, Katie has years of experience working with folks around varying aspects of identity including but not limited to race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, differing abilities, body diversity, and socio-economic situation. This is an inclusive and respectful therapeutic space.
Therapeutically, Katie draws heavily from two modalities--Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Somatic Experiencing.
